Hello to all my readers,

I hope you enjoy my new Psychology Today blogpost.
I'm delighted to share be able to it with you. In it I share a very meaningful story from a friend of mine, and some personal stories from my own life. Please feel free to share this email with friends (just click above).

I am also thrilled to announce that I've been getting wonderful reviews of my upcoming book  Deeper Dating: How To Drop The Games of Seduction and Discover The Power of Intimacy from top thought leaders whose work I profoundly respect. Here is just one example from Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt. Harville and Helen are two of the most renowned and respected thinkers and authors on the subject of intimacy. Harville has been on the Oprah show 18 times. More importantly, their vision of intimacy has changed the lives of many millions of people, including my own. Here's what they have to say about my book:

“Deeper Dating is counter-intuitive, and it is among the best manuals for succeeding in finding and keeping love I have seen. According to its author, the core attractor for the person best suited for a great love is the part of you with which you may be most uncomfortable: your vulnerability and authenticity. He explicitly votes against a presentational self attempting to make an impression. Not only does he encourage you to leave your defenses at home, he shows you with many illustrations and exercises just how to prepare for the ultimate relationship with someone who is just right for you.”

Harville Hendrix, Ph. D. and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph. D. Keeping the Love You Find and Making Marriage Simple.

Enjoy my post and thank you for all your support!

warmly

Ken

Apps, events and websites offer endless opportunities for meeting, but until we learn how to choose healthy intimacy and nurture its tender new shoots, it’s unlikely we’ll find the love we seek. When we approach our search for love as an intimacy journey, not as a race against time or a search for a needle in a haystack, everything changes.
